Hi people,

i'm currently testing the Parental Controls feature how seem not bad at all.

but when you block a website IE show you a basic page who ~say: "Window
Parental controls has blocked access to this web page"

So how can we change the template of this page ?

and why images and others stuff are not locally loaded ? source code for the
image "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=58929"

thx a lot people ;-)

I am afraid you cannot do that, its standard feature, you could probably
check the Group Policy Editor.

Hmm... there is a way to do it, especially with some of the other default
error pages in IE. If you download Resource Hacker, and try loading in the
C:\windows\system32\ie**.dll files and changing them there.

Not sure if this'll actually work or not - but you can change custom error
pages this way. Make sure you do a backup of the DLL's first though - and
this is NOT recommended to novice users as this can screw things up biggggg
time!

I click the icon for parental control to open, i see the mouse change and
then it does nothing. I wait for as long as you want to wait.

don't know what else i can do except re install vista. doubt that would
work. i also heard from another vista tester that parental control doesn't
work in beta 2.

I don't know whats going on on your side AMDX2, but I am able to setup
Activity Reports, Web Restrictions, Time Limits, Game Ratings, block
specific games, and set program limits. I would definitely file report,
everything works just fine here, I even set up the same restrictions in
build 5381.1 without any issues.

I might have already, but forget, I don't think I have though. Also the last
bug report with the reporting tool I have tried to send won't. It is like MS
blocks me now. It just refuses to send with the data program thing they
have. I fill out the report correctly in the bug report tool, then it sends
with the other program, but it never goes through anymore and it just seems
like MS is now blocking me from sending any reports. It just seems like it.
I have no clue though.
