Parameter Values Not Valid

I recently tried to add a new column (using Field Chooser) to the Inbox in Outlook, however I've obviously done something wrong as I can no longer view my Inbox.

I dragged a few new fields/columns into the view, and then the right side of the screen went grey, and the following message is now displayed:

Unable to display the folder. Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.

I thought I could reset the view using View, Customise Current View from the menu, but none of these options are available on this folder any more.

To get around the problem, I have created a Rule to forward everything from the Inbox into a new folder I've called Mailbox. It works, but I would love to know what happened, and if I can set the Inbox back to normal.

Would be grateful for any help.

Kind regards

You can start Outlook by Start-> Run with the /cleanviews command line
switch to force a reset on the views.
