paragraph and spacing symbols

How do I get rid of the paragraph and spacing symbols in my document?

Hi Lia,
You can choose Tools from the menu, then choose Options. Click the View tab
if necessary. About in the middle is the Formatting marks section. Uncheck
Paragraph marks and Spaces (and anything else you do not want to see) then
choose OK.
