paper jam

I have Epson Stylus CX5900. It is continually jamming paper. Do cartridge
levels affect this? Black is new and colours are all 50%. The paper skews to
one side all the time. hope someone can help. thanks

Usually, paper jams are caused by small bits of paper or other debris
caught in the paper path. They need to be carefully but completely removed.
