Pandasoft - what do you lot think..

Ive got Pandasoft antivirus and firewall set up on this pc....its a 30 day
time limited version which has been running for 12 days so far and im quite
impressed with it.

The virus checker has spotted things that Norton and AVG missed and the
firewall program keeps throwing messages up saying that "xx has attempted a
network" attack.....this happens lots of times a night.I never seemed to
have as many messages when iwas using Zonealarm....Are these warnings all
true and correct.

Im using XP Pro and im on Blueyonder - connected thru a LAN cable rather
than a USB lead, if that means anything.

Thanks in advance.......

Oh.....and my earlier test posts that got people a tad miffed.....Blueyonder
tech. support gotin touch with me to say that there is a delay of"seven
hours ish" when posting to a binaries news group..

I'm very impressed with the product, and like it a lot. I have had
problems with it recently though, but that was down to un-installing
another programme that managed to delete some files that were obviously
used by the AV software.

I took the option of ZoneAlarm not to show all attempts at intrusion,
so I can't comment on that.

Not so sure why the google search means anything. Panda offers good
software and does not try to convert anyone's religious beliefs. Please
compare apples to apples.

i recently tried the demo of the Panda suite and to be honest i liked
it......it picked up a few things that other well known utility progs
missed.
I liked the firewall setup . but then i downloaded service pack 2 and also
AVG ( both free) now i use the XP firewall inconjunction with AVG and i
think im sort of OK .....til someone else tels me otherwise..

I think the Pandasoft set up costs about £50 ish for the better verson
(Titanium ??) me thinks

As they say.....you pays yer money................

Hope this helps a bit
