Panasonic Dot matrix Printer

My office uses a Panasonic kx-p1150 printer with a
quickbooks program. Since installing XP we cannot use the
quickbooks fonts, the printer gives a driver error and
defaults to some other type of font. Do I need to load
the fonts into XP some special way.

Thanks

If they are TrueType fonts and show in the Control Panel Fonts list and in
the menu of other software (MS Word, for example), you can reasonably assume
the fonts are OK and properly installed.

Was the printer used with the previously-installed OS? If so, it might solve
the problem to delete the printer from Control Panel Printers and Faxes,
restart Windows and install the driver. XP might do that automatically when
Windows restarts.

Let us know.
