I want to make a connection with my laptop and mobile
phone but I don't know how to set it up can anyone help

Infrared, bluetooth, usb, serial...
Search google for your phone and computer. You have told us nothing about
the capabilities of either. For example if your phone and computer are both
bluetooth capable, their are many sites describing how to connect them. Foe

thanks bob,I am using bluetooth on both of them the laptop
is a Acer travelmate800LCi and a motorola v500 phone
