Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC) is currently underway in Barcelona, but as is traditional, many of the big announcements came yesterday by way of press releases. Wired has published a round up of the big new so far:

Mobile World Congress is back. Every year, the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturers (apart from Apple) descend on Barcelona to announce their shiny new phones.

The event officially runs from February 26 to March 1 year, but many of the biggest announcements will take place in press conferences on Sunday, February 25.

On Sunday, Samsung announced the Galaxy S9 and S9+, Nokia unveiled a whole plethora of devices, new and old, and Huawei eschewed phones altogether, choosing instead to announce its latest laptop, the MateBook X Pro.
