Hi

Go to START/Controlpanel/Software and click at "Windows Components
Add/Remove...at the left hand side. You will find Paint under "Acessories"
(click on "Details" to see the components)

You will have to have an XP Installation CD handy.

Hope this will solve your problem.

Markus, I got to the 'paint' but the details button is
gray and it shows .04 MB and it is checked. If I hit OK
it just pulls backa window. What can I do at this prompt?

When you have paint activated it is clear that Details is greyed out, as
there are no "subfolders" beneath paint. So this is normal.
What you could do is to uncheck paint and click OK, et it uninstall and
afterwards install it by checking paint this time.

Or you could try the registry fix provided by Map. Be sure to create a
system recovery checkpoint before editing the registry.
