Pages don't open in newest window

In Int. Exp. 5 when I had multiple windows open and
clicked on a desktop shortcut, it alwasys opened in the
newest window.
In Int. Explorer 6 it opens in the oldest window,
preventing me from retaining the current web page I'm
viewing.
Can I change this so it uses the newer window?

Right click and select "Open in new window" is your best bet I think...
