Pagefile.sys and Using a Separate Hard Drive

I was wondering if I load Windows XP Pro on one hard-drive
and then set-up the pagefile.sys to point to a different
hard-drive, what kind of performance improvement or
degradation will I find....ALSO, if my primary hard drive
is 80GB (8MB cache) and my second drive is a 30GB hard
drive, what should my pagefile.sys size be? Oops, my RAM
is 1GB

Question for you please....the drive that is the 30GB
drive was removed from an old system (with NTFS), when
Windows XP loaded it, it only sees 2GB as being available
on the disk, it has a Master Boot Record on it....I am
using PArtition MAgic to delete the entire drive and then
reformat the entire drive to make it 30GB, any ideas on
how to do that because XP is only seeing 2GB of the
drive. I looked up diskpart, but that looks scary.
