Page Set up

This is driving me crazy.

When I build a report, if it is not set up in the default letter size /
portrait / 1" margins, I find that in the mde files I produce, previewing
reports will default back to the default settings. If you go into page setup,
the setup is correct, and upon exiting page setup, the preview shows the
correct setup.

I set up my applications to be push button simple for my users. I don't
want them to have to go into page setup each time they want to print a report.

Using A2K SR1 - Windows 2K SP4.
Anybody have any thoughts why this is happening?

Thanks

This is a known problem, which was supposedly corrected in one of the three
SP/SR for Access 2000. I note that you only have the first one. I believe
the others are still available on the Microsoft site, even though Access
2000 is now, officially, "out of support". I strongly recommend you obtain
all the service packs/releases and patches and apply them. If you have a
high speed Internet connection, you can do this via the Office Update item
on the top menu in Windows Update. If you have a dial-up (slow) connection,
you should search for them and order the CD (there may be a nominal charge
for handling and mailing, but it won't be exorbitant).

Alternatively, you might be able to get a "buy" on Access 2002 or Office XP
at one of the online auction sites (I like that better than 2000 even with
all the Access 2000 SP/SRs applied.). Or just upgrade to the current
version, Access 2003 or Office 2003 System.

Unfortunately, I don't have any say in product upgrades and patches in
my company. My personal version is upgraded to SP3, but can't do
anything about work.

Thanks for the response Larry.
