Page-Section-Numbering. Pulled forward from Friday. Resp to S. Bl

Stefan, Thanks for the reply, but it did not specifically address my
problem. The Chapter-Page Number style page numbering appears on all pages.
But it will NOT appear in the TOC for sections that are in the middle of a
single page surrounded by two other sections. For instance on one page I
start with one column, then put in a continuous section break to go to two
columns (where my problem items are), then switch back to a single column at
the bottom of the page. The outline numbered items in the middle of the page
show up in the TOC with no chapter number. Can you help??

In a continuous section, you will have to temporarily insert page
breaks so that you can see all headers and footers. Then you can set
the chapter/page numbering option for that section too (via the Page
Number Format dialog box).
