Page scrolling problem

When I scroll any page ,it does not move steadily up or down.

It has a "wavy/ fading "effect. temporarily, and then settles.
Any know solution ?.

Win XP Home .Windows Office XP.

apologies for font size,cannot seem to make it smaller.

Try updating your video card drivers. Get them from the card mftr.'s
website, not Windows Update, unless you have an OEM machine (Dell, HP,
Compaq, etc.). In that case, go to the OEM's website and get them for
your particular model.
