Page Numbering

I have a document Words2003 I have given page numbers
In Footer I wrote (Continue to Page No.02) 02 is a Field {={page}+1}
And I want to give page number in Header too and also want to hide that
entry on page No.1

Whenever I uncheck the CHECKBOX and then press ok first page header don’t
show page number it’s alright…..
But the main problem is Footer also not showing the (Continue to Page No.2)
What is the way to fix it?
at a moment I want header to hide page No. on frist page and footer to show
on frist page.

And the other question is {={page}+1} field can work Words previous versions
and I am using Words2003

In Page Setup, select Different First Page. You can now set what H&Fs you
want for the first page but make sure that Same As Previous is unchecked in
the subsequent H&Fs.

You cannot have a first page header without also having a first page footer
(as you have noticed), so you will have to duplicate the main footer
contents in the first page footer.

Sir I in page setup the Different Frist Page has already been Selected.

I want Header to Hide number and
I want footer to show number in same time on Frist Page

I got the solution
thanks for very one, At last my header is not showing auto numbering on
first page but footer is showing

every one can do it in three steps

1. give autonumber(pagenumber) to the header but uncheck the shownumbers.
2. go to the footer set page number for example (continue to page no.2) 02
is field {={page}+1}
3. copy the footer's feild into second page's footer
now you get the auto page numbering.

I knew i can do it but i need some help thanks Stefan and specially Terry.

You have to copy the content of the Footer into the First Page Footer.
