Page numbering with 0 as first page with page x of y

When I tell 2007 to start numbering on the second page it does so but counts
the first "unnumbedred" page in the total page count. How do I instruct it,
SO IT LISTENS, not to include the first page in any count??????????

In the Format Page Number dialog, set the starting number to 0
