Page Numbering when Grouping Worksheets

Each worksheet within my Excel workbook have page numbers. However,
when I group several of those worksheets to print, the page numbering
becomes continuous. Is there a way to group several worksheets
together without having the page numbers be continuous. For example,
Sheet 1 is 2 pages and Sheet 2 is 2 pages. Rather than having page 1
of Sheet 1 say 1 of 4, I'd like to group the worksheets together and
have Sheet 1 say 1 of 2. Is this possible with a VBA code. I can't
find this issue anywhere on the Internet.

perhaps using in a macro with this lines:

dim ws as worksheet
for each ws in activewindow.selectedsheets
ws.printout
