Page numbering across a workbook

Hi.

Is there a way to get excel to number pages consecutively
over a number of worksheets in a workbook? For instance, I
have Worksheet1, Worksheet2 and Worksheet3, each with two
print pages. I want to print all of them, but starting,
for example, with page 60. After I enter the start page as
60 in the page setup dialogue, how do I get Excel to print
all the worksheets within the workbook with continuous
page numbering? I am finding that it goes back to page 60
every time it comes to the start of the next worksheet.
Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Group your sheets before printing. Select the left-most sheet and
Shift-Select the right-most sheet.

Remember to ungroup them after printing or any changes you make to one
sheet will be made in al the others.

Thanks for the quick response. I had tried that. And tried
it again after you responded just in case I missed
something, but no luck. It still reverts to the specified
page number in the page setup when it prints the next
worksheet. Maybe I am missing some option or setting
somewhere?

Thanks

No. They change to whatever page number I put in for the
very first worksheet in the group. Even if I go and
manually change the setting to Auto in a subsequent
worksheet, it makes that change for all the worksheets in
the group, including the first.

BTW... thanks for taking the time.

Ungroup the sheets, change all but the first one back to Auto, then
regroup them.
