Page Navigation Levels Change Automatically!

Davy

On my web I have the top navigation options set to 'home' and 'up'.
However, every few weeks when working on my local version of the web I hear
extensive disk usage and then find that they have automatically changed to
'same level' on all pages. I have to reset them and then of course when I
publish using 'changed pages only', every page is detected as changed and
the publishing is thus very slow.

Anybody any idea why the navigation option should change of their own
accord?

I am using FP2000 with Windows 2000 publishing to Apache with FP extensions
enabled.

cheers

I too have similar problems with FP2002 in page navigation. It appears to
be too clever by half. Unchecking 'all pages' does not seem to make a
difference. If I set up a link in a child page, changes are made to the
parent page and vice versa. The other day I found that after setting up a
home link in the child page, a home link was also set up in the parent and
the Parent Banner heading was changed to home!
