Page fault in non paged area

Hi,
I have a fault with Windows XP Pro, Windows XP was keep locking up, next it
said there was a system file missing and the computer would not boot.
I booted with Windows XP cd went to the system recovery screen pressed "r "
then the screen would go blank and a error message would come up ; Windows
has detected an error and has shut down your system; Page fault in non paged
area. the computer has locked up at this point., this scenerio happens each
time I do this process.

I have even tried to reinstall windows XP PRO instead but I get the same
error message; Windows has detected an error and has shut down your system;
Page fault in non paged area.

I serached on the internet, and I found that this error is usually
associated with bad memory.
I used a boot floppy with a memory testing program and did a memory check
and the program came up with 21 errors with the memory.

I then ordered some memory from Crucial, same type, 512MB 184-pin DIMM DDR
3200, I removed the old memory from the first DIMM slot on the motherboard
and I installed the new crucial memory.

I switched on the computer, booted to cd, went through the recovery
proceedure and got the same error message "Page fault in non paged area" at
the same place as with using the old memory. I can't reload windows XP PRO
because, I get the same error, "Page fault in non paged area" if I try to
re install.

Have you got any ideas what is happening?

The motherboard is faulty, not the memory.
Run the tester again to prove this. IF you get 21 errors then.....

Put the memory in another DIMM slot and see what happens.
