"page can't be displayed"

Has been happening for two days........can't access any secured site (https).......like my credit union, paypal or even to order an online magazine subscription. I get "page can't be displayed".........have checked my security settings and seem to be timely on the critical updates
Getting desparate........help appreciated.

Have you tried fresh(F5) - if that doesn't work - contact the sites - via email - that you are trying to access to see if they have any problems.
