Page Cannot Be Displayed

I am attempting to visit the site www.homestar.com from
my office computer, and I am getting the "page cannot be
displayed" message. However, when I try from home (exact
same computer configuration) I can access the site with
no problem. I can't think of any other sites wherein I
have this same problem. I am using WinXP Home Edition on
both, and it's IE6. Any ideas?

I got a similar problem where I can't browse the same
website in one PC, but others PCs have no problem
accessing the same site. The trouble PC has no problem
accessing other network resources, but IE6 seems unable to
browse during office hours.
The same PC has no problem browsing after hour. I don't
think my router or firewall has any restriction on
Internet access for this particulart PC. This problem is
driving me crazy.

If anyone has any idea why. Please let me know ASAP.

Thanks,

Bisbane

Check C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc for a file named HOSTS with no
extension. (Not Hosts.sam)
Make sure Windows is set to show hidden files and folders and is NOT set to
hide extensions for known file types.
If HOSTS exists, rename it to HOSTS.OLD
Reboot an try again.

Or, In a Cmd window, enter
ipconfig /flushdns
then clear your TIF also, and re-boot.

I tried to rename the Hosts file, rebooted, and I can't
get on the site. Can you provide more detailed
instructions as to how to open a command window and clear
the TIF?
