When using internet exlorer on my XP, I get the "page
cannot be displayed" when accessing inbox on my.yahoo, and
also when try to view details on jobs in my.monster. It's
not a server problem - I can access both sites easily with
my windows 98 pc. This is a new problem in the last few
days. May have something to do the windows hotfix stuff I
recently downloaded, but I've used system restore to
before hotfixes and problem does not go away. Recently
set up wireless networking about 2 weeks ago for the XP
and win98 Pcs, everything works well, I'm using DSL
connections to the internet, so I don't think thats a
factor. Tried the troubleshooter stuff, but no help. I
had no duplicate winsock files, but also I could only find
winsock.dll, couldn't find winsock32.dll, wsock.vxd, and
winsock32.vxd. Troubleshooter doesn't indicate that this
is a problem, only if you find duplicates.
Also, just found out I got this error when I tried to
post this message! I had to use my Win98 machine to post!
