page cannot be displayed wireless router?

hello my sister has a new computer with a wireless router and she says she
has trouble while trying to connect to the internet. what i don't understand
is that it happens about half the time? i don't know what to tell her, i have
a dsl modem so i don't know anything about a wireless router and that might
not even be the problem? thank you

We would need a lot more detail about her problem in order to give you
accurate and focused troubleshooting. In the meantime, have your sister
check for the power management settings on her computer's wireless
adapter. These settings will be either in the software that came with
the adapter or if there is no special wireless adapter management
software, Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager. Expand the
network adapters category and double-click on the wireless adapter to
get is properties. If there is a power management tab, uncheck the box
that says, "allow Windows to turn off this device when not in use".
Apply and OK out.
