Page can not be displayed, IE 6.0

Hello all,

I have recently downloaded IE 6.0 SP1, since then to view
a web page i have to go to the web page iniatially, The
page cannot be displayed as it cannot find server etc etc.
If i hit refresh the page appears and then i can view web
pages. This is an extremely annoying problem which i would
love to know how to fix.
My computer is currently on a connected to the Internet
via a LAN, however, this has never hindered previous
versions of IE. I am running win 98 SE.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Check this setting.

"Tools, Internet Options/Security/Custom Levels" "Allow
META Refresh" must be Enabled
