Page Background Not Printing

Hello

I have chosen a colour for my background (through Format, Background, Fill
Effects). It looks fine on the screen, but when I print it out the page is
still white.

Backgrounds are intended for Web pages, not for printing. Only in Word 2003
can you (easily) print a "background." To make a printable background in
earlier versions, you must create a "watermark" instead. In Word 2002/2003,
use Format | Background | Printed Watermark. For earlier versions, see “HOW
TO: Create a Watermark in Word 97 and in Microsoft Word 2000†at

Hi Suzanne

Thanks for your help. I actually figured it out too. I clicked on Tools,
Options, Print, Background Colours and Images (ver 2003) and it came out.
Defiinitely not recommended for ink usage though.

Thanks Anyway.

Regards, Sharon
