Does anyone know how to add Media Player music file license information to
the CD packaged with a PowerPoint slide show?

Apparently not. :)

What exactly is it you need to do? Distribute music files? If so, does the
user need to be able to accept a license agreement or something?

If you just want to say, "I paid the royalties; the songs here are legal,"
then I guess I'm wondering if you could just include a TXT file with that
information and include it on the CD in a readme.TXT file or something.

It can certainly be done but does require a fair amount of work as it must
be encoded with DRM in place and then formated for Windows Media Player use.
The downside is that you can not use the viewer in your distributed CDs.
The receiving computer must have PowerPoint installed. If you like drop me
an email (just click reply) and I can give you some pointers on it.

Perhaps if I have a better idea of what you are trying to accomplish I can
suggest easier alternatives.
