I have just purchased a Packard Bell Computer with XP Home.

When I click the Internet Explorer button I get Packard Bells interpretation
of IE. It is awful!!!

How do I get a standard screen of IE on to my machine?

I know it is full of bugs, traps, hang ups, but at leat it is a relatively
clean screen.

Return the Packard Bell and get a real computer. I haven't had any problems
with IE6.

If it is only cosmetic (very likely) then:

To remove all Internet Explorer branding, follow these steps:
1. Click Start.
2. Click Run.
3. Type

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

and then click OK.

4. Restart Internet Explorer.
