Hi If someone sends me a presentation created with pack and Go ( Powerpoint
2000) what do I need to open and read the file please. I am running XP with
PP2003

Thanks

Usually Pack and Go packages include a file called pngsetup.exe and if the
package contains the viewer, then nothing else is required Running the
pngsetup.exe program extracts everything you need.

Michael - thanks for your post and help

If someone zips the pngsetup.exe would that corrupt it, after its being
extracted. I am getting the pngsetup.exe file in its own director. When I
run the .exe file I am asked for a folder, and then I get "unable to read
"D:\temp\pngsetup\pres0.ppz.! Make sure the file exists...

Thanks

AFAIK, It shouldn't. You could get WinZip to have a look at the .ppz file. I
have heard that it can open them also.

Thanks for your efforts

Have just got onto a W2k machine and tested the problem - oops, the sender
was only sending us the .exe file and not the ppz or pp1 files as well.

Thanks for your help
