I use a commercial application that absolutely requires pp2003 and is not
going to migrate to pp2007, can these two versions of powerpoint exist/run on
the same system?
tks,

Yes. I run both on my system without any problems. The main key is to be
sure that 2003 is installed before 2007.

Guys,
thanks, unfortunately
I've already put o2007 on the system (although I guess I could back up on it
and the lot's of fixes)
VirtualPC only allows for vga and you can not get to the high power video
card (it's a video application - ovation)
Have a great one,

Generally, yes. You have to install 2003 first, plus any updates you plan
to
do, then 2007. Having done that, you should NOT uninstall 2003 and
probably
shouldn't apply any more updates/service packs to it; at least not w/o
first
removing 2007, making any changes to 2003 then reinstalling 2007.
I've not had any problems with having the 2 run and doing updates for both.
Just thought I would say.
