PAB file imported to Contacts in Outlook 2003

Hi,

One of our users got a new computer. I imported
her old personal address book using the "Convert your
Personal Address Book to a Contacts folder" instructions
in Outlook help.

Everything imported OK and when she clicks on the
address book, you can see all of the entries as contacts,
but when she goes to add a new contact, it is not showing
up in the contacts list after she saves it.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks,

Sandy M

Clarify your post.
State how the Contact is being added and exactly where it is not showing up.

The way she is trying to add new Contacts is by clicking
on the Contacts bar (on the left side of the pane), then
clicking on new, entering the contact information and
saving it.

Her address book is set to look at Contacts, which
is kind of a sub-category under Outlook Address Book.

When she composes a new message, she clicks on the
address button next to "To". This shows the contacts
which I imported from her personal address book, but
her new addresses that she thought she saved in Contacts
are not there.

Is there more than one place where Contacts are stored?

Thanks,

Sandy
