P4P800 dlx and overclock

**Jerry**

Have P4 2.4 GHz at 800 Mhz quadpumped FSB. I can reach only 215 MHz
frequency and get a good startup, but at higher speeds I am getting only
"Bad checksum..." error message and no boot. I can see that this CPU is very
overclockable, so am I missing something? RAM is locked to 400 MHz, AGP is
locked at 66 MHz, default voltages... Bios is 1008 version.

Set bus speed for CPU to 250mhz. Then try locking AGP to 66/33 and setting
ram to 320mhz... Set ram up by spd and try your luck. Has worked for me on
two systems.

Thanks for the tip - I'm new to overclocking and probably would have fallen
for the same mistake.
