i was reading articles about how you can set up P2P networks on your windows xp os and so i took all the steps that it told me to take.. i went and downloaded the help files and then i downloaded the P2P software and i enabled it on my computer but my problem is now that the help files dont explain on how to actually set up the whole P2P network. i have 3 computer that i just wanted to set up on this network but i just dont have the ablities to do it. if anyone could give me a little idea on a way to do this i would more than appreciate it.
P.S. my os is Windows XP Professional w/ all updates that are avaible
What do you mean by P2P network? What software did you download?
If you just want to connect your computers to each other so that they
can share files, printers, and an Internet connection, all you need to
do is run XP's built-in Network Setup Wizard on each computer and give
the right answers to its questions:
XP ICS - Starting the Network Setup Wizard

To physically connect three computers, get a network hub, switch, or
broadband router and connect all of them to it.
If that doesn't help, please post a news group reply (not E-mail) with
full details of what you want to do. I'm sure that someone can help.
