OWA requires a password for attachments

Outlook Web Access is requesting a password eveytime I open any MS Office
2003 attachment (except Word documents). This applies to MSO 2003 PowerPoint,
Access & Excel.

Is there a patch to fix this at the client or server level?? It is very
annoying to our Executive Staff that when one authenticates to the OWA Mail
Server via MS Exchange 2003, additional passwords are required everytime one
accesses most MS Office 2003 attachments.

Thanks for any input or advice to remedy this problem.
 
Start by taking a look on the server for the session time out settings.

For further assistance ask in an Exchange newsgroup as OWA is part of
Exchange not Outlook.

This problem has also been recently brought up by 'the powers that be' in the
company I work for. I've searched online and haven't found a definitive
answer/ fix for this. Is there a registry correction or something similar to
change this?
 
OWA is supported in exchange.clients as it is part of Exchange and not
Outlook.
