I have a legit 2002 version of Office. However my computer came with a trial
version of Office 2003 which has expired. Word and Excel run fine but
everytime I go to use Power Point, it asks for the serial number for 2003
version and won't run without it. I deleted a folder entitled Office 11
which had the 2003 version but it didn't help.

Dunno if this will work or not, but try running a Detect and Repair in
Office XP.

Also, for future reference, just deleting a program folder is not the same
as uninstalling it and is rarely a good idea.
