overwritten microsoft word file

i was completing my assignment and suddenly i didn't know which button i
click and everything disappeared,
when i undo, nothing happens. i decided to close the program to locate in my
documents so when it ask me to save, i click ok
hoping that my assignmnet will be saved. But i was wrong, i reopen it and
it was blank!! i realised that i had overwritten it.
How do i recover it? Need help urgently. My dateline is TOMORROW!!!

You can re-load the document from the backups you keep in case of just such an event.
