Which registry key should I edit to disable the "power button" on my
keyboard?

You can change what action is taken when any power button is pressed in the
control panel -> power management settings. I don't know if you can disable
the actual key itself though....

Don't forget to look at your keyboard on the control panel,
you can usually disable keyboard input there.
