OutPost Western Digital Rebates?

Did anyone ever actually get their rebate. Snailbates is more like it.
After waiting 12 weeks they answered my queries with "Checks in the
mail". Now it is 4 weeks later an NADA!

Outpost responded with "It says right on the form you have to wait 8-10
weeks" I wrote back and saying "Then why has it been 16 already?" They
didn't bother answering. I'm filing complaints with the BBB and FTC,
not to mention boycotting Outpost and Western Digital...

I'm trying to RMA the POS now.

But hey.. With these rebates so rampant, and the service so poor, maybe
its time to short that WDC stock after all. Opps wrog group. Worked for
maytag though!!

Don't know about rebates from Outpost, but have you tried the WD site?

well yeah I did...

They told me it was just mailed, please allow 2 weeks for delivery;
however 4 weeks later no check...Mind you this is after waiting 12
weeks for an advertised 8-10 week process. It seems like malarkey to
me, but I'm just the fool waiting for his money. I'm thinking I will
just go with the "real" price next time and skip the rebates all
together. In my case it was $40 less, without a $60 rebate. Silly
pricing games....not woth the headache.
