Outloook 2003 - Messages in task bar will not reopen

When working with a new, reply or forwarded message and I or the program
minimizes it to the taskbar, it will not reopen. Have tried the right click,
restore, etc options. Other s/w apps open and shut as does outlook no prob.
Just the messages. This only started after trying a sync program called
Sync2. In order to remove it I have to shut down Outlook and restart it - of
course losing any work I have done

I would appreciate any suggestions/help.

In addition to the below issue when I simply try to open (double click to
open full page) a message it sends it directly to the task bar and it can not
be opened, closed, restored, maximized, etc..
