outlookE & aim

Hi i have a annoying problem when using outlook express

everytime i load outlook express aol messenger starts to load i have the
checkbox unticked for this action and have tried enabling and disabling it
but it still loads

i know theres bound to be something in the registry i can edit or delete
i would just like to be sure before i delete or edit anything

any ideas

Open AIM. Go to preferences and uncheck: "Make AIM my default instant
messaging program".
