Outlook2K3 on XPH connecting to Exch 5.5 gets password prompt

I have a PC at home that is running XPH SP2 and Office2K3 when I try to
connect to my Exchange 5.5 server mailbox having successfully connected to my
company network using a pptp connection to VPN I get a prompt for my Domain,
user name and password that just keeps repeating so I'm unable to complete
the setup.

I've tried this on another XPH machine using Office2K and can connect to my
Exchange mailbox without any issues.

I've tried just my name and password, DOMAIN\Username and filled in each of
the three fields as well but still no luck.

Any suggestions?
 
Try changing the authentication method in Outlook 2003 from Kerberos/NTLM to
just NTLM. (This will be on the security tab when you bring up the "more
settings" on the microsoft exchange transport.)
