Outlook2K freezes when typing HTML email

I have 2 users that are currently experiencing this problem:

WinXP Pro
Outlook 2000
Internet Explorer 7

When creating an email in HTML format, Outlook will just seem to freeze
up and does not display the characters on the screen as they are typing.
Then, within 30 to 90 seconds, Outlook will refresh and everything they
typed will appear on the screen.

During this 30 to 90 second interval, you cannot do anything with Outlook
and it consumes almost all of the CPU time.

The problem seems to have started shortly after installing IE7.

Has anyone else seen this problem or have any idea what is causing this?

I have eliminated all possiblities of spyware, virus, etc, made sure no
other processes were running in the background that might interfere with
Outlook, have applied all Windows and Office updates.

Any help is appreciated!

It's Internet Explorer 7. Uninstall it from the control panel and go
back to the previous version and Outlook works fine.
