Outlook 2007 always changes the default "send from" account
from my POP acct to the exchange acct. I can reset it, it gets
set right back. Any thoughts?

If I were you, I would create separate signatures for each account. In Outlook's Options->Mail Format tab, set each account to use the designated signature. When you use the POP3 account signature, it should force the mail to go out on the POP3 account.

Of course, all replies will use the receiving account and will have to be changed manually if you want a different account to reply.

are you using sbs 2003? Known issue. Remove the log on script or make a new
profile - using an new name - so the script can't mess it up.

How do you do that? I have the same problem, and am using SBS 2003. My logon
script (identified in the profile tab of my user proprerties sheet) is the
default SBS_LOGIN_SCRIPT.bat. It contains one line:

\\"SERVER"\Clients\Setup\Setup.exe /s "SERVER" (no quotes)

What do I do to get Outlook to come up with my POP account as the default
"send from" account? I'm a newbie to logon scripts.
Thanks in advance.
