Outlook2003 and McAfee VSE 8.5i

After doing a clean install of VSE8.5i I opened outlook up and get the
following error:
The add-in "x:\mcafee\8.5i\Scanotlk.dll" could not be installed or loaded.
This problem may be resolved by using the detect and repair on the help menu.

I click ok and outlook opens.

I did run the detect and repair but this did not seem to help.

I remember something similar happening in VSE 8.0 installation, but but can
not find anything so far on McAfee's website or in the MSKB's.
any help would be appreciated.

Is "x:\mcafee\8.5i\Scanotlk.dll" the actual location you installed the
scanner to? This is a location on the local computer, right?

Well now I can't believe I didn't pick up on this, the actual path to the
file is x:\mcafee\virusscan enterprise\scanotlk.dll
I guess the question now is how do I get Outlook to go to the correct
location?

Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced Options-> button COM Add-Ins.
Remove the wrong referrence and add the correct one.

I had looked here but it does not show up as an com-addin and if I try to
add it, I'm told it is not a valid add-in. The Outlook Scan is actually
found under the Add-ins manager. I tried searching the Reg for this Dll
hoping I would get lucky and would be able to just make the change there but
no entries found. I'm thinking I might have to reinstall McAfee and set the
installation location to that of what Outlook is looking for.
