When I open Outlook, and punch "send and receive" a box
appears and states that "A dial up networking connection
is already established to At&T Worldnet Service" then
there are two choices one "Hang up and dial connection
2"and " Try to locate the Server on the current connection"
#1 I don't have a "Connection 2" and I have to use the
other choice to receive any mail. "Why do I have go
through this to access my mail?

If you're connected to an exchange server,
try This ... Within Outlook hit:
TOOLS --> SERVICES

Select "Microsoft Exchange Settings" and hot properties,
Under the GENERAL tab, make sure the setting
Automatically detect connection state is selected.

Hope it's gonna help ... :)

You've probably got your mail service configured to always dial your AT&T
connection when you check for mail and you're already connected when you
try it. You'll need to edit that in the properties for your mail service
(Tools | E-mail Accounts, perhaps).
