When linking from a message in outlook it opens a web page. Going to a new
message and linking again it opens a new page. Why won't outlook just open a
new page in the exhisting page already open? Is there some control I don't
see here?

What browser are you using?

And a tip - as this Newsgroup is dedicated to Outlook, please use a subject
that is not a "generic" one of just "Outlook". Everyone KNOWS your question
is about Outlook otherwise you wouldn't be posting here! Also many regulars
here ignore posts with a "generic" subject so you would get less replies.
For example, in this case your subject could have read "Links from emails
open in new window not current".

Have a look here on good posting:

Ok changed title that might help.
Using 6.0 currently.
News Group set to Outlook Express. No way to change in tools and settings
that I could see.

Thanks for response.

I believe it depends on your version of Outlook. Outlook 2003, for example,
always opens a new web browser window.
