Outlook XP to 2007

I am trying to copy my contacts and calendar appointments from a computer
with Outlook XP to my laptop with Outlook 2007. What do i need to do to
copy them over?

As stated daily with OL closed copy the data files to Documents in new PC
In Outlook open them (File>Open Data File)
