Outlook XP Sort By Icon is Broken

I use MS Outlook XP at home and at work... this question relates to
Outlook inbox behavior.

At the office, the envelope icon in the "sort by icon" column of the
inbox changes to reflect whether the item has been read/unread or
replied to/forwarded. This is the behavior I expect and desire.

At home, the envelope icon changes when read, but shows NO change when
the message is forwarded or replied to. I can't tell from looking at
this icon whether anyone at home has responded to the email as the
"open envelope" icon never changes when a message is replied to or
forwarded.

Everything else works normally--and this USED to work fine at home, but
mysteriously changed a few months ago. I have NO idea what might have
been done to change it.

I've searched all around looking for an answer to this one, and I sure
do appreciate your help. Thanks!
David

In case anyone comes looking for the answer to this, I found the
answer...

Running the /cleanviews switch option from the command line restored my
inbox behavior to normal.

Cheers,
