Outlook XP asking for username/password/domain on startup

John

I seem to have a problem in that each time I startup Outlook XP with
accessing Exchange I get a dialogue box coming up asking for a username /
password / domain. I put in the required info and the domain will not allow
more than 8 characters.

I deleted the profile and created the profile and I'm still having the same
issue when creating the email account.

I'm running the latest fixes for Office XP / Windows XP.

Any idea's on this?

I'm using an internal MS Exchange server and not an ISP.

Still having the same issue. But if I remove the profile and create a new
profile with a different name I can access Outlook and the MS Exchange
server. Once I exit outlook and go back in again I'm prompted with the
username/password/domain again and can't login.

Any idea's on what is causing this to happen and a solution for this issue?

Thanks

Hi John,

i am sorry. I only know this website of Microsoft with a local (ISP)
installation.

Perhaps you could ask the same question in an Exchange Newsgroup:
or

They will know more about Exchange.
