Outlook work offline is unselectable

Hi,
I have office xp and basically the work offline is selected but I cannot
unselected the work offline option as it seems to be disabled.
The connection is on a network and the only way I can receive\send emails is
to keep manually selecting the send\receive button. I have tried looking at
the configuration settings to refresh the settings but there is nothing
selected. The long way around the problem is to either reinstall the outlook
or to do a restore which does seem drastic, any ideas?

Hi,

I have same kind of problem with one PC in our network. outlook is always offline, and its not selectable

This PC also only connects to Domain after start up was done without cable.
So first I remove cable, then I start up PC. Then I do login. After login is done is connect cable and then i have connection to network. If I start up with cable and do login I get message cannot find domain.
